The cause of the workpiece 'rusting' after the blackening agent is blackened
Release time:2018-11-30 Publisher:Why is the workpiece 'rusting' after the blackening agent blacks out?
The workpiece after the blackening agent is blacked out will not change color quickly after being subjected to oil immersion dehydration treatment, and even the whole becomes yellow (like rust). Therefore, the workpiece after blackening must be dehydrated (soaked in dehydrated oil for 5-10 minutes). However, even if the workpiece has been temporarily changed, it will turn black after oil immersion.
The workpiece after blackening is coated with general grease without dehydration protection, so that the water molecules on the surface of the workpiece are sealed inside the oil film. Over time, there is a tendency to rust from the inside out.
The dehydrated oil will inevitably be brought into the water during use. It will form sediment water at the bottom of the oil layer. If the workpiece is placed in the bottom of the container during dehydration treatment, it will be in the water, which will not achieve the purpose of dehydration.
The solution is to use a special replacement dehydration anti-rust oil, which can replace the water molecules on the surface of the workpiece with oil molecules, so as to avoid the workpiece from rusting from the inside to the outside. The rust-preventing period of dehydrated oil is generally not less than 180 days. In the dry areas of the north, the rust-preventing period will be longer.
Those who do not have dehydrated anti-rust oil can soak the workpiece with boiled oil. Hui Ze Ling specializes in providing blackening agent, please call us!
